Animal Fitness Center: Natural Way of Managing Horse Joint Pain
I never really thought about horse joint pain before. It always seemed to me that horses, especially my favorite pet Semper, is impervious to pain and sickness. So when my gorgeous stallion started showing signs of arthritis, I had no clue what to do. Looking online I found this great website about an Animal Fitness Center by Dr. Ava Frick. I discovered that all animals, including horses, can become ill in the same ways as a human. If I had not taken Semper in so soon and his equine arthritis had gotten worse I would have never lived it down.Animal Pain Relief
Ava Frick explained that horse joint pain is actually pretty common once they become over 15 years in age. Tendons and cartilage, in horses and humans, wear down over time as they grow old. Since I got Semper when I was 14 I didn’t think about his aging causing pain, swelling, stiffness and swelling in his joints. I had not noticed that he was in so much pain and had been suffering for quite some time already. I ride him every day around our farm and was even putting him through hours of practice.
Medication and drugs are usually given for equine joint pain. However, I know for a fact that pain medication can also be harmful to the internal organs of horses. Besides, I want to make sure that the management of my beloved Semper’s problems should be done as natural as possible. Good thing Dr. Ava Frick uses holistic treatments instead of common medicines. Another thing I liked about Animal Fitness Center is their holistic approach to easing discomfort and pain of animals. Not only do they specialize in relieving pain through electronic devices but they also concentrate on the proper nutrition needed for a fast recovery. Besides, I was very happy to see that Semper was given genuine care and affection while he stayed at the Animal Fitness Center.
One thing about the animal chiropractic care that Dr. Ava Frick gave to Semper is that it was custom just for him. Treating an animals condition in this matter targets the actual problem and doesn’t just mask the symptoms. Even though medicine can relieve the horse joint pain that Semper felt, they usually don’t even treat the actual problem just the symptoms. Massage therapy combined with PST, Pulsed Signal Therapy, was able to not only treat his pain but also helped the function of his problem areas. With in a few weeks of care at Ava Frick’s Animal Fitness Center, Semper showed great improvement.Animal Chiropractic
